Estimated Budget
This sample wedding budget assumes a peak season, weekend wedding date for 80 guests with a $35,000 wedding budget. Please note that all of these areas can be upgraded or downgraded according to your tastes and final compromises. Don’t forget tax and gratuity when creating the final budget! We’ve also found the following percentage breakdown to be true of most weddings if you find that helpful:
50% - venue and catering
10% - attire (dress, accessories, hair and makeup, groom’s attire, etc)
10% - photography/videography
10% - music
10% - flowers and decor
10% - everything else
