A Snowy Mountain Wedding with a Polaris Track Ride to the Ceremony

When a major snowstorm rolls through, weddings at Black Diamond Lodge don’t slow down, they just get a little more creative.

For this winter celebration, deep snow meant finding a reliable way to move guests between the lodge and the ceremony site. The solution was a Polaris track vehicle, which quickly became more than just transportation. It helped pack down the ceremony area for a more stable setup, making the space more comfortable for guests while keeping the setting fully intact.

But the real highlight came later.

As the day shifted toward evening, the Polaris turned into the couple’s exit ride, heading out into the snowy landscape with the mountains fading into the background. It created a moment that felt cinematic without trying too hard, and made for some of the most memorable photos of the day.

And in true Black Diamond Lodge fashion, the exit didn’t mean the party was over. After a quick loop through the snow, the couple made their way right back to the lodge to keep the celebration going.

It’s a great example of how winter weddings here don’t just work, they create opportunities for moments you wouldn’t get any other time of year.
