Vendor Flexibility
Requirements are simple: use our in-house bartender, coordination with The Perfect Day Co., hire a licensed caterer, and have event liability insurance! Otherwise you’re welcome to bring in your own team.
Pet & Children
Our casual setting allows for kiddos and pets to play a huge role in your celebration while still having an elegant atmosphere for the biggest party of your life. We know it just wouldn’t be the same without including your furry friends!

For weddings and *most* events we require event liability insurance (typically around $250), a day-of coordination package with our partner company, The Perfect Day Co, an in house bartender contract, and a licensed caterer or approved private chef. Our space is “bring your own alcohol” (or even better, have it delivered from our favorite liquor store). You are welcome to hire whatever florist, DJ, hair and makeup person, magician act, photo booth, baker, etc that you would like and we have LOTS of favorite vendors to recommend if you need a little help.

Our space comfortably fits events with 95 people.
We can accommodate a MAXIMUM of 120 guests, but we strongly recommend aiming for around 80-95 attendees.

We LOVE hosting weddings and events! However, to keep our guests, staff and property safe, we require staffing, insurance, and an event coordinator when guests host parties in our space. That being said, if you are planning on hosting a wedding of ANY kind or another party with off-site guests in attendance, then we require you to pay a venue fee.

We love that you still want to get married with us, but for our guests to get the TRUE Black Diamond Lodge experience, we like them to stay on property. Lodging is required unless your requested event date is a weekday or within the next 90 days. All requests are pending availability.

We have several back up options in case of rain. Many couples will switch to our patio for the ceremony site, but we can also switch to a last minute ceremony in the lobby area. We provide white wedding umbrellas in the case of rain and we like to hope for sunny days. We do not ever book indoor weddings as plan A. The sunshine and mountains are just too irresistible.
