Intentional Details

A + K put SO much time, thought, and love into their day, and it really showed. From the menus to the first dances to the timeline, they took the time to really think about their day, their guests, and how they wanted to spend their time. Amanda is an amazing graphic designer and made all of her signs. She made beautiful itineraries that she printed out and gave to every guest as they checked into their room for the weekend, the seating chart, the menus, and the coolest matchbook favors. They all came together and created a beautiful, cohesive look.

They planned their day to maximize time with their guests. They wanted to do a first look so that they could follow their guests to cocktail hour and spend the time mingling and catching up. Next, they did THE COOLEST thing we have seen in a while. They put the names of their beloved guests in a bowl and drew two names for those people to sign the “witness” lines on their marriage license. It was such a fun way to include the guests without adding a lot of pressure. Lastly, A and K weren’t the biggest fans of everyone’s attention being on them for the first dance, so they decided to keep it casual and have the first dances on the front patio, and guests got to mingle and chat while they danced, making them both feel much more comfortable.
